5 Stars loyal Samsung purchaser
I began with a Samsung cell phone several years ago and have stayed with them. So. . . I chose a Samsung for my new TV. So far it’s great.
5 Stars Just the right amount of TV for those who hardly watch
It was with reluctance that I moved into the 21st Century of TVs. Managed to do so just before June 12th. Now that we have this set we actually watch it more often than the old (13″) one. We use a roof-top antenna and finally can watch the local PBS station. All the old stations, with the exception of one, now come in very well. The pictures are very clear. Had to play around with the setup, but I managed quite well and am satisfied. We do not have cable TV.
1 Star Worked through the 90 day warrenty, then…
This TV worked like a charm until about a week after its 90 day warranty. Then it began to randomly shut itself off (3-4 times in an hour) with the only method for turning it back on being to unplug it from the wall, wait 10sec, and replug. It might just be this one set but this ordeal has put a sour taste in my mouth. I won’t be buying a Samsung TV again.
5 Stars beautiful television
I purchase this television two weeks ago and love the picture. I put it in my kitchen and it definitely serves its purpose. I’m usually a Sony purchaser-and still am-but I thought this would be a great looking television for my kitchen. It was definately worth the money for its purpose.
4 Stars Samsung LN22B460
I just purchased the Samsung LN22B460 and am very pleased with this product. The previous reviews I read were very accurate. The picture is very clean and the colors are great, especially in HD. If not viewing HD channels it is very easy to adjust the colors to get the picture you’re looking for. The set up was very easy. Just open the box and plug it in. With not much reading you can figure out how to set up the colors, channel selection, sound, etc.
The sound is not terrible like some of the other reviews stated but it could have a little more bottom end to give it a boost. I’ll probably buy speakers to add on as I don’t have it set up through a sound system.
I’ve owned several Samsung’s over the years and feel that they put out a great product.
All in all I would highly recommend this t.v.

5 Stars Brillant High-Def TV
This TV is simply amazing, and really brings Blu-Ray movies to life. Match this with a surround sound system and you’ll feel like it’s a movie theater in your home. I use this TV also for gaming and I’ve used it a LOT and haven’t had any problems. It’s energy saving modes are nice too and uses the same amount of electricity as a smaller 32″ CRT TV.
5 Stars Upgrade and enjoy!.
Download the new TV’s firmware upgrade of from Sony’s web page, copy it to a flash drive, insert it in the USB port in the back of the TV, and the dim problem will be solved.
4 Stars Nice TV
Bought it at the local BB a few months ago. Could’ve gotten more features from other brands at about the same price; or same features and size for less money but wife wanted a Sony, so for our budget we had to settle for this entry model. The set up was very easy and overall very user-friendly.
Had the same dimming problem many had. Tried to download the fix via Sony’s website but the TV woudln’t recognize any of my USB drive, so we called Sony to send a drive to us and problem mostly fixed. On some of the dark scenes it seems like the TV still want to dimm out but is fighting itself.
The stand feels kind of flimsy but is holding up so far. The internal speakers are surprisingly good. Not surround or anything but they are loud and relatively clean. The TV quality is good so for fast-action sport games.
Overall, it’s a very nice unit.

5 Stars Excellent TV
I bought this tv for my bedroom and it works wonderfully. I highly recommend this tv for people looking for a LCD tv. I have a Toshiba Regza and the Samsung out does it.
4 Stars So glad I bought the Samsung LN37B650
Pretty awesome picture quality. A lot better than the 720p 32″ Sony Bravia that this one was replacing. Some reviews or salespeople will say that 720p and 1080p doesn’t make much difference for broadcast programs, but I think the 1080p is noticably better. DVDs look better, too. If I had more space, I would have purchased the 40″ set instead of the 37″.
My only complaint is that sometimes text that scrolls along the bottom of the screen looks a little fuzzy for a while, then it becomes sharper and looks fine. This might have something to do with the interpolation mode (automotion?). This is the only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
The TV was delivered by Pilot. They called ahead to let us know what time they’d be delivering, and they even showed up a few minutes early. They also helped us set up the new TV. There was also a printed manual in the box. Nice swivel base and remote control unit.
I also got a good price by purchasing it directly from Amazon. Took advantage of the email discount code. If I had waited, the cost of this TV would have been lower, but, hey, I’ve had a chance to enjoy it for a few months already. You can get this now at a very good price, and if you can redeem an electronic coupon, all the better!
1 Star Show up late and doesn’t even work
Purchasing a television through Amazon has now been the worst experience I have ever had with purchasing anything. I have never had to talk to so many people about so many problems. It started with a concern of te delivery date on my purchase. Then I finally recieved the product and it is broken. Now I am lost in a maze of customer service departments and people none of which can completely resolve the issue. I would not order at TV from Amazon if I were you. I am still embroiled in the issue two weeks after my order and still do not have a working TV.
4 Stars Good … but a few issues
I was looking to upgrade my setup from my old Sony Bravia 32 so I did some homework on the internet like most good consumers do these days. This TV was rated very highly by numerous sources including Consumer Reports. It had all the features on paper that I wanted so I decided to get it. When I first hooked it up my reaction was very positive.
The picture quality is wonderful. The color expression is rich and deep. It handles black levels incredibly well. Okay, good so far. I plugged in my XBOX 360 with a HDMI vr 1.3 rated cable and set it 1080p. This is where my reactions became mixed.
Wherever you go these days, people have TVs with 120hz refresh rates set up next to TVs that have the old 60hz in an attempt to impress upon you the difference. It looks great in stores like Best Buy and Sears… but it’s another matter at home. If you turn it to a slightly higher setting you may notice a strange aura around moving objects. After (again) checking online this is apparently a known problem with the technology that Sony and LG also suffer from. So I turn the blur reduction up and the judder reduction down. Good, it looks a bit more smooth without the motion artifacts… but wait. Every now and then it stutters as if it’s having a little difficulty keeping up. That’s strange… okay. I’ll turn the judder reduction down further. Know what? It still happens every now and then. It’s less of an issue that it was while I was still playing around with the settings, but it still bugs me a little.
In short, regardless of the problems with 120hz as a collective whole this is a good set for the money. The picture is good, the speakers are decent after they’ve been used for a few hours (they sound a bit flat up front, probably just needed some burn in time). However, know the the benefits and shortcomings of 120hz. It looks good if you can arrive at a decent setting, but it can still hiccup every now and then. If you’re a perfectionist this may bother you a bit more than it does me. Hopefully Samsung will come out with a firmware upgrade that addresses this issue somewhat.
5 Stars Awesome! ! !
First I would like to say that the delivery service also gets the best rating. They were just the best. I figured they would just set it inside the door and leave. They brought it into the bedroom plugged it in and tuned it for me. They did not leave until they were sure it was working properly.
I have always purchased Sony or Panasonic. I had a 42″ Panasonice Viera Plasma in my bedroom on a free standing stand. The stand just took up too much room. I read all the reviews here for several weeks before deciding on the Samsung. I even went over to BestBuy and watched my final two choices. It was Samsung the whole way. It’s light [30+ lbs.] and sits on a stand with wheels so I can move it much easier.
Colors are all vivid and make you feel like you are right there. Thank you Amazon! ! ! !

5 Stars Sanus System Adapter Plate
Included all hardware and easy to understand instructions.
Excellent fix for the problem that it was designed to address.
It’s a shame that they don’t tell you that you may need this adapter when you purchase the wall mount. I found out only after some investigation.
5 Stars Exactly what I needed. Great!
Exactly what I needed. As strong as the main bracket. Glad I found this product. Just wish they had this in black.
5 Stars You might need this
I recently had to replace a 26″ wall mounted HD television. I thought it would be a snap. Take down the old one and move the mounting bracket to the new on. NOT SO FAST. The original TV had VESA compliant mounting screws and they were in a pattern of 100mm x 100mm. Upon unpacking the replacement TV (Toshiba) I found that while VESA compliant the mounting screws were now in a 100mm x 200mm pattern. A little searching while google and I found this Sanus Systems adapter place. A few days after ordering this I had what I needed to get the new TV up on the wall were it belonged. Hope this helps someone else with this situation.
5 Stars Works as advertised
Easy to attach to both the TV and the support arm. Too bad that Sony requires this at all!
4 Stars No 75mm holes
A couple of points: There are no 75mm holes, so when mounting to an adjustable arm, you may have to use the plate which changes the mounting arm from 75mm to 100mm, then attach this adapter as well. This adapter may be a little oversized if installing on a monitor with a recessed, or flush mount bracket. Due to this, the supply screws weren’t deep enough to me use. I had to go to the hardware store and get ones with the right depth. Used on Samsung Syncmaster 245BW and Ergotron LX Desk Mount.

4 Stars Awesome
I couldn’t be happier with the new TV, which I bought 3 weeks ago. I was looking for a good value for my $$$. I looked at TV’s at three different Best Buys and couldn’t find much difference in picture quality. The same set would look good in one store, bad in another. Probably due to source video and settings. It came down to Panasonic and LG (comparable Sony too expensive, Samsung got to many bad reviews). LG has a swivel stand, Panasonic’s is fixed. I liked this feature as the set will be in the corner of my living room. Thankfully my local Best Buy was sold out. When I got home Amazon had it at a better price so I took the plunge. I was nevous about buying a TV thru Amazon but the delivery truck showed up as scheduled and the guys set it up and took the box away. And I wanted to lug one home from Best Buy? I won’t do that again.
5 Stars great tv
I’ve had this tv for a month now. I bought it for my bedroom – thinking that a 32″ would be a little too small. It’s hooked up to my Dish network HD DVR box with an HDMI cable, and I think the picture is as good or better than my 1080p Samsung plasma 50 inch (PN50A650). I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again for my guest bedroom (and am planning to). No flaws as far as I can tell. I’m very pleased.
5 Stars Love it!
We’ve only had this TV about 1 month, but so far we love it! The TV arrived a day earlier than expected, was a breeze to hook up, and has a fabulous picture. We couldn’t be more pleased.
5 Stars Fantastic!
I’ve owned this TV for several months now, and I love it more each day. Picture is almost perfect. You will not notice a difference between this and 1080 unless you’re using it as a computer monitor. Sound is just OK. The built-in picture wizard saves you at least $50 alone to tweak the color settings.
It’s worth spending an extra $10 on an HDMI cable for both TV and DVD/Blu Ray, although component cables produce a nice picture as well. If this is your first HDTV, you want a newer DVD player with HDMI connections and HD upconversion…trust me. My last TV was 480P and DVD’s looked better on it until I upgraded the player.
I also have an LG computer monitor that is as fantastic as this TV (for over a year now). Just buy it!
2 Stars Beware of lipsync problems via HDMI
I got this set a month ago and was happy with it until I upgraded from Comcast Digital cable to Comcast HD cable. To get to the point, this TV had also sorts of trouble getting the audio to match the video when connected by an HDMI 1.3a cable and that’s totally unacceptable.
Google “best buy forum lg lip sync” to read a 20-page thread of frustrated owners trying to cope with the audio mess LG thinks is acceptable to dump on consumers.
