5 Stars cody 15 inch widescreen lcd hdtv/monitor
i have always wanted a hi-def tv. i enjoy it very much. it was a very good invest-

ment for me.

4 Stars Excellent buy for the price…
I bought this TV for a college dorm. I simply couldn’t have asked for anything better. For its size, its really functional and takes up little or no space. It has all the HD ports necessary to support the Xbox 360. As an added bonus, it should be very easy to take home when school is over! I Recommend this TV to anyone who needs a TV to fit in a small space!

5 Stars Great little TV
I love this TV. It has a nice, bright picture, it’s very small and easy to carry around, the sound quality is just fine and the overall quality is nice. It’s a great buy for it’s size. I saw more TV’s of the same size selling for twice as much. I recommend it to anyone…for the kitchen, the office, even the bathroom. It’s a good size for the counter top and you can watch it while you are getting ready for work. Might be a little small for the bedroom though.

5 Stars Happy with purchase
This is an excellent TV for the price. Good picture and acceptable sound. Easy to set up and install. Importantly, it IS mountable.

4 Stars Coby TFTV1524 15-inch
The only thing I do not like about this TV is that if you do not have the TV angled in a certain position the people’s heads around their hair are all back and the picture is dark. The color is vibrant too – sometimes too vibrant and the people are very orange even if you adjust the color.

2 Stars LCD TV
I had little luck receiving any channels on this TV. Tried different antennae, all of which had worked on another TV, and could not get more than 3 channels.

2 Stars Decent but Flawed Cheap TV
Pro: No dead or stuck pixels. The tuner has good reception. Good selection of inputs and the on-screen menus are well thought out. The resolution is as advertised. The speakers are better than most TVs of this size, but still sound tinny.

Con: The LCD panel has poor vertical viewing angle, you need to be looking at it at almost 0 degrees. Viewed from 20 degrees below and it is almost black. Viewed from 20 degrees above and it is completely washed out. Absolutely terrible color banding. Instead of a smooth color gradient you see obvious bands of solid color. I tested this side by side with a Sony viewing the same off-air video source (1080i native source material). The Sony looked great, the Coby had obvious banding. I assume this is a 6-bit per pixel panel used for cheap computer monitors and not the 8 or 10 bits per pixel panels used with most TVs.

Conclusion: For the price this is an adequate TV for an exercise room or fishing cabin where quality does not matter. Not acceptable for a TV that will be viewed frequently.

4 Stars As expected
This TV is about what I expected from a lower priced TV: nothing outstanding, but good, solid functionality and quality. We use this at our cottage on a wall mount to save space. We simply play the DVD/VCR through it since we don’t have a cable hook-up. It’s more than fine for that purpose.

4 Stars perfect for my room
This TV was a steal for $209 (no shipping, no tax) when I bought it.

I mostly got it because I had a smaller, non-HDTV that wasn’t widescreen before, and I recently got a 12.1 inch laptop so I wanted a bigger widescreen HDTV that I could use as a monitor for it. It’s perfect!

I didn’t want to get the DVD player attached since I don’t know how long the DVD era will last, and since I hook my laptop up to it anyway, I might as well just use it as the DVD player and save $20 or however much.

It has a nice picture, the colors are very bright, and the audio is all right, but I personally up some surround sound because that’s how I roll. :)

4 Stars pretty good for the price
This TV is good for the price, I like it so far no problems yet.

2 Stars NO REMOTE CODES FOR THIS TV!!!!!!!!!
There are no remote codes for ANY Coby television products, so don’t buy one if you want to use a universal remote. You will always need to use two remotes if you have cable or satellite. The unit itself is very nice. Good sound, good picture. I like the ease of setting it up. Just take it out of the box and plug it in. No need to screw on the base, like I did for another TV from a different retailer. My only complaint is that there are no remote codes available, even from Coby tech (non)support.

4 Stars Good looking TV.
I’m working in Iraq and I needed something small for my hooch, but I didnt really want to get too tiny. This TV suits my needs perfectly. Its not crystal clear, but it has a good quality that I’m satisfied with. It has lots of inputs in the back, sturdy set up for wall mounting, and the menus on screen are simple. Its a good TV with good sound. And given the opportunity with the same money, I’d do it twice.

Hope it helps,

Tyler D.

4 Stars An Auto Programming Issue
We purchased this TV/Monitor because I am half blind and our other TV/Monitor was a 19″. For the money it was a good purchase. We had our cable turned on a few days ago and did an auto tune to tune channels in and well today, it did not work. It shuts the TV off and does not save the auto scanned settings. Now either we are doing something wrong or this TV’s auto scan feature does not work. Hmmmmm anyone have any ideas or has this happened to anyone else??????If we are just TV dumb and doing something wrong, please advise……otherwise…at least now I can see what’s on TV, I just have to manually do channels each time.

5 Stars Excellent product for the price
Excellent product, especially for the price. Minus points: (a) extremely skimpy owner’s manual. Only through trial and error can one operate the TV to the full extent of its capabilities. (b) UPS severely damaged the carton in transit. It was a miracle the unit itself was not damaged thanks to the heavy protective packing of the manufacturer.

5 Stars Coby 26″ widescreen tv
Great TV THAT WAS EASY TO SET UP AND IT CAME WITH ALL THE CABLES AND A REMOTE CONTROL, SO BOTHER BUYING THEM. ENJOY.

5 Stars JVC LT-42P300
I was particular impressed with the service .

I am pleased with the set .I use FIOES and the set up was a bit involved ,probably those who have no experience would not be able to set it up .

3 Stars Should have checked the features….
A leading consumer magazine listed this as a Best Buy. And I desperately needed a TV. So I bought it. It’s okay, I guess, but I should have investigated a little more in a store. Compared to my old (dead) Sharp Aquos, here’s what I’m missing:

1) PIP

2) Too much reflected light from windows

3) Whenever the source is changed, it *always* defaults to a view mode that only shows 95% of the available image. I *always* have to switch the view mode to the “right” one. No way to set a different default.

That’s it. Only using it with a PS3 (blue-ray DVD + games) and PC. But it’s not dead, at least.

5 Stars Love it so far
We have only had it a few weeks. So far we really, really, love it. The picture is perfect.

It was easy to set up. But mostly we LOVE have the ipod doc with it. !!!!

5 Stars Best value in 1080p
I have had this TV for a about 6 weeks. This TV has fantastic color and resolution.

This TV as indeed at “best buy” from a leading consumer magazine. I never considered a JVC

before. My brands were Samsung and Sony. But, after buying this JVC, I have become a big JVC fann.

Everyone who as seen this TV is amazed by the rich colors and excellent resolution.

We use a DirecTV HD box as a source as well as a Panasonic blue-ray player. Both give

perfect colors.

My next project will be to hook this TV up to a Fit-PC2 to create my own, very inexpensive

entertainment center able to play any movie any time.

I do not know what the one negative reviewer was complaining about. You can pay 2x for comparable

TV from Sony or Samsung.

I can’t say enough good things about this TV. If you buy it, I am sure you will be happy with it.

The only negative is that the styling is “unique” and takes a bit getting used to. The blue

light accents are a bit weird but, when you match it up with the blue lights on the DirectTV HD

DVR then it actually looks spectacular.
