4 Stars Great for the price
Nice bedroom t.v. and the grandkids like it too when there is activity in the living room where the bigger t.v. is located. And the price is very good, picture quality excellent, easy to hang.

4 Stars Toshiba 26 inch
We bought this set to replace an old tube TV in the bedroom. Been using it about month and a half and it seems to work fine. It is connected to our Dish satellite service.

3 Stars 26-inch Toshiba–Good Picture, Limited Sound
I bought this 26-inch Toshiba LCD to replace a much older TV. The picture is adequate though tending towards the red spectrum and the 720p makes for some rather watery movements. It has the full array of connections, and I love connecting my laptop and using the big screen as a monitor. However, the sound is not loud enough. When I turn the volume up all the way we should be blasted out of the small bedroom where it is but it’s nowhere near that loud. I’ve “fixed” it by adding some old external computer speakers but it was a disappointment. Picture also shows some crazy “paint box” like display on startup that goes away if you push any button ont he remote. But, hey, it was cheap enough and serves its purpose.

5 Stars great product so far
have had no problems thus far with the purchase or product or the product itself, use amazon frequently.

4 Stars Toshiba-26AV502R
Purchase the Toshiba for dual use as a desk top computer monitor and television. The unit has a good picture although the overall sound quality is below average. Offers good value and features for the money. Do not know yet if this is a re-occurring problem but have noticed on two occasions when the set is initially powered up the unit seems to lock up without ever having a picture or sound. Had to unplug the unit and power up then seems to work as designed.

4 Stars Great Tv
This is a great tv.Sound and picture quality are very satisfactory. You have different sound and picture settings for different purposes, gaming, movie, sports etc.Since the frame is also black,it seems larger than 32″ at first sight :D . There is only one problem which is rare. When you try to switch the input (from HDMI to cable etc.),the screen goes black. In that case you should shut down the TV and then turn it on.That’s why I gave 4 stars.Otherwise, it is great. We have been using it for 7 months and we are very happy.

5 Stars 710p LCD TVS
Very good second TV for those Guest rooms, or other non primary viewing areas of the house. Very good Pictures in the digital format, with 2 Hdmi inputs for DVDs/Blu-ray.Digital input slot for digital sound and a PC wired connection, so that unit can be used as a PC monitor. I purchased the unit mostly for the Grand kids, to watch their DVDs on and watch cartoons.

4 Stars Best 720P SET……
So I was in the market for a 32 inch set for the bedroom and decided to go with 720P, since 1080P just isn’t necessary for this size. I looked at the Panny, LG, and the Sammy 460 series and this Toshiba’s had the deepest blacks out of the three. Blacks are more important to me being a Kuro owner. I’ve had this tv up and running now for 24 hours straight for over a week and no issues thus far. Very sharp picture with HD running through it. SD doesn’t look as sharp at all, but that is the case with any LCD. Good blacks(for an lcd). The screen is a matte, so you don’t get the reflections. Off viewing axis is better than most LCD’S, but being a plasma owner, it sucks in comparison. The color accuracy leaves something to be desired. Luckily the picture menu allows you to correct this. The sound is decent, although you will get vibration with certain dialog with the bass turned all the way up. Here are the settings I came up with for the best possible picture and fixing the color issue, which is a green push. This was done with a ISF calibration disc in a dark room. If you wish for a brighter picture for sports viewing or because you have the tv in a brighter setting, then bump up the backlight. Note: I will keep updating these settings until I feel they are perfect, so keep checking in from time to time.

UPDATED SETTINGS:

HDMI

MODE: PREFERENCE

CONTRAST: 70

BACKLIGHT: 60

DYNALIGHT: OFF

BRIGHTNESS: 56

COLOR: 45

TINT: 0

SHARPNESS: 4

ADVANCED PICTURE SETTINGS:

DYNAMIC CONTRAST: OFF

STATIC GAMMA: 0

COLOR TEMP: WARM

B DRIVE: 0

G DRIVE: -5

NOISE REDUCTION:

DNR: OFF

MPEG REDUCTION: OFF

THEATER SETTINGS:

PICTURE SIZE: NATIVE(HDMI)

CINEMA MODE: FILM

AUTO ASPECT RATIO: OFF

I gave it a four star only because of the speaker vibration during certain dialog and the major color adjustment it needed, but for the money, I could have easily given it a five star.

3 Stars It is Ok
Picture is great… But… when I turn up the bass the body of the TV vibrates. It vibrates to the point of I had to turn off the TV speakers and use external sound system. If you’re buying this unit online don’t throw the box away! You may need to ship it back. I returned my first unit back to the store to exchange my TV and saw four other open box units. I’m just putting two and two together.

5 Stars Great TV!
I have just purchased this TV from Best Buy as it was on sale a good amount. Brought it home and it rocks! The quality of the picture is just amazing when it is hooked up to my DVD player. I might have to give in and get a blue-ray to see how that looks! Input cables are in a good place so I can keep my TV against the wall. Wish the sound was a little better, but then again I have a surround sound for when I want the premium sound anyways.

5 Stars JVC LT-42P300
I was particular impressed with the service .

I am pleased with the set .I use FIOES and the set up was a bit involved ,probably those who have no experience would not be able to set it up .

3 Stars Should have checked the features….
A leading consumer magazine listed this as a Best Buy. And I desperately needed a TV. So I bought it. It’s okay, I guess, but I should have investigated a little more in a store. Compared to my old (dead) Sharp Aquos, here’s what I’m missing:

1) PIP

2) Too much reflected light from windows

3) Whenever the source is changed, it *always* defaults to a view mode that only shows 95% of the available image. I *always* have to switch the view mode to the “right” one. No way to set a different default.

That’s it. Only using it with a PS3 (blue-ray DVD + games) and PC. But it’s not dead, at least.

5 Stars Love it so far
We have only had it a few weeks. So far we really, really, love it. The picture is perfect.

It was easy to set up. But mostly we LOVE have the ipod doc with it. !!!!

5 Stars Best value in 1080p
I have had this TV for a about 6 weeks. This TV has fantastic color and resolution.

This TV as indeed at “best buy” from a leading consumer magazine. I never considered a JVC

before. My brands were Samsung and Sony. But, after buying this JVC, I have become a big JVC fann.

Everyone who as seen this TV is amazed by the rich colors and excellent resolution.

We use a DirecTV HD box as a source as well as a Panasonic blue-ray player. Both give

perfect colors.

My next project will be to hook this TV up to a Fit-PC2 to create my own, very inexpensive

entertainment center able to play any movie any time.

I do not know what the one negative reviewer was complaining about. You can pay 2x for comparable

TV from Sony or Samsung.

I can’t say enough good things about this TV. If you buy it, I am sure you will be happy with it.

The only negative is that the styling is “unique” and takes a bit getting used to. The blue

light accents are a bit weird but, when you match it up with the blue lights on the DirectTV HD

DVR then it actually looks spectacular.

4 Stars Awesome
I couldn’t be happier with the new TV, which I bought 3 weeks ago. I was looking for a good value for my $$$. I looked at TV’s at three different Best Buys and couldn’t find much difference in picture quality. The same set would look good in one store, bad in another. Probably due to source video and settings. It came down to Panasonic and LG (comparable Sony too expensive, Samsung got to many bad reviews). LG has a swivel stand, Panasonic’s is fixed. I liked this feature as the set will be in the corner of my living room. Thankfully my local Best Buy was sold out. When I got home Amazon had it at a better price so I took the plunge. I was nevous about buying a TV thru Amazon but the delivery truck showed up as scheduled and the guys set it up and took the box away. And I wanted to lug one home from Best Buy? I won’t do that again.

5 Stars great tv
I’ve had this tv for a month now. I bought it for my bedroom – thinking that a 32″ would be a little too small. It’s hooked up to my Dish network HD DVR box with an HDMI cable, and I think the picture is as good or better than my 1080p Samsung plasma 50 inch (PN50A650). I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again for my guest bedroom (and am planning to). No flaws as far as I can tell. I’m very pleased.

5 Stars Love it!
We’ve only had this TV about 1 month, but so far we love it! The TV arrived a day earlier than expected, was a breeze to hook up, and has a fabulous picture. We couldn’t be more pleased.

5 Stars Fantastic!
I’ve owned this TV for several months now, and I love it more each day. Picture is almost perfect. You will not notice a difference between this and 1080 unless you’re using it as a computer monitor. Sound is just OK. The built-in picture wizard saves you at least $50 alone to tweak the color settings.

It’s worth spending an extra $10 on an HDMI cable for both TV and DVD/Blu Ray, although component cables produce a nice picture as well. If this is your first HDTV, you want a newer DVD player with HDMI connections and HD upconversion…trust me. My last TV was 480P and DVD’s looked better on it until I upgraded the player.

I also have an LG computer monitor that is as fantastic as this TV (for over a year now). Just buy it!

2 Stars Beware of lipsync problems via HDMI
I got this set a month ago and was happy with it until I upgraded from Comcast Digital cable to Comcast HD cable. To get to the point, this TV had also sorts of trouble getting the audio to match the video when connected by an HDMI 1.3a cable and that’s totally unacceptable.

Google “best buy forum lg lip sync” to read a 20-page thread of frustrated owners trying to cope with the audio mess LG thinks is acceptable to dump on consumers.
