We needed a white tv for the kitchen. BB,CC,HHGregg none carried this lg model in white. Went to Amazon warehouse deals and found this open box special. Saved $100 and the only thing I could see was wrong with the box was alitte tape had been pulled off the box. The unit is brand new and works great. Will go back to the open box specials often. Thanks for a great deal!!
4 Stars Nice picture and an elegant TV model
I like the TV. Very nice and very good picture display.
The only problem we have with the unit is that the wake-up timer isn’t too reliable. I set the TV to turn on automatically from Monday to Friday at a specific time, but it missed most Fridays for some reason I don’t understand. The year/month/time are correct, it just likes to skip most Fridays. Also, last Sunday it turned on at 6:30AM with the Monday-Friday schedule for unknown reasons. Beside this small issue the TV is great.
5 Stars Very nice TV!
I’ve had this TV for almost a month now and I am quite happy with this purchase. Picture quality is great. Sound is ok although I’ve noticed it can sound a bit distorted with some channels if you have the bass on too high. I noticed this while watching a baseball game on a local channel.
The reason I got a 22″ TV is because of limited desk space. I have it placed next to my LCD monitor so I can browse the net and watch TV at the same time. That and my monitor is 22″ so having the same size screens look cool next to each other.
I would get this TV if you have limited space in your room. Also if you wanna get this since there aren’t too many white LCD TV’s, and not wanting to spend too much money, then this is a must buy since the price isn’t too expensive.
5 Stars Great little stylish tv
It’s been a total of 2 days but I already love this tv. At first I was a bit alarmed with programming the remote (the tv seemed to shut off) but it was me not being familiar with the on/off mechanism.
So far, I’ve played a few dvd movies and it’s performed well with all of them. The picture is clear, audio has a limit but seems louder or softer depending on the individual dvd. Still need to try out PS2 games and cable tv.
Overall, this is a stylish tv that fits perfectly into my small room in the city’s interior decor and size parameters. I love it! The quality is comprable if not better than Sonys of it’s size and it’ll last me a good 2-3 decades of use if properly taken care of. I definitely recommend this tv: you’ll love it as much as I do.

I am not happy wth my new LG 22inch tv.The picture quality is not what I expected. I have a Crosley 26 inch, which I’m sure was made by LG ( the same remote operates both tvs) but the Crosley has a better picture, even though it has a larger screen. Also the LG will not get the HDTV channels from my cable Co. even thouh it is on the same line as my larger set. Yes it is programmed proper: the HDTV channels cut out. This set reminds me of the days when I retailed tvs. The Goldstar days, when LG made low cost crap. I’m thinking of re-connecting my 13 inch Quasar. Smaller but better.I made a big mistake. B. 5 Stars excellent product.
Some people complained about how the joints on it are too tight, but that’s silly because the joints’ tightness is adjustable. It takes using a tool (that is provided with the mount) to tighten or loosen whatever joints are necessary.
I use an AOC 2230 something or other monitor (22 inches, 11 lbs i think). It works perfectly. The color doesn’t perfectly match my black monitor, but….I don’t care.
There was no assembly required. It came completely assembled. Admittedly, I did have to take the edge-mount off because I’m using the grommet, but that wasn’t very hard.
There are rubber/foamish pads at the bottom of either mount where the stand touches the desk. These provide a great buffer between the mount and desk so that wood won’t scratch, the mount will stay put, etc.
I’ve never used any other mount of comparable complexity, but this is exactly what I wanted.

I bought 6 of these for work, and now everyone wants one. They are super strong, nice looking on the desk, and useful. My whole office recommends them! For us, they were worth the money.
5 Stars Great Quality + Good Price
Pros:
- Very sturdy, typing with it mounted to my desk did not make the screen vibrate.
- There is a large range of possible horizontal motions and a decent amount of vertical range.
- The price is very good when compared to some of the other products out there.
- Can be mounted in multiple ways, i.e. at the edge of you desk with a clamp or in the middle with a drill.
Cons:
- Some of the hinges to allow motion come from the factory VERY tight. I would loosen some of them a little bit before mounting.
- For the 100mm monitors there is an adapter plate that you have to use. This worries me because the monitor seems like it is being held up only by the tension of thumb screws on the monitor. But so far it seems very sturdy.
3 Stars Not bad but cut some corners
I was satisfied with the product in general. The cable holders, however, are a joke – they are very flimsy and fall off often. So I’ve discarded them. Also the documentation is a bit unusual – no words, just pictures, some of which aren’t understandable at first glance.
1 Star Not good for Apple Cinema Displays
Even though this arm is rated to support 18 lbs, it won’t support even the 20″ aluminum Cinema Display which weighs 14 lbs. Rather than using a toothed hinge for the tilt axis, it uses cheap plastic washers so even though I’ve tightened it so much that I’ve stripped the allan bolt, the monitor still droops.
