5 Stars Fantastic Monitor
I did a HUGE amount of research to find the best 22″ computer monitor under $300. The sound is not great (no bad either), but I did not buy it to be a HDTV. It works perfectly. The remote is intuitive, the buttons on the side allow you to switch between monitor and TV very easily. It comes with both VGA and DVI (male-male) cables and it overall a fantastic product. This is the best 22″ monitor for under $300 and it just to happens to be a television too.
4 Stars Good for a small bedroom or office
Pretty satisfied with this product. Had to adjust color and brightness control to get a good picture. My husband says picture is still too small for his satisfaction but I find it just fine for the bedroom. Still haven’t figured out how to program my remote to use my video player (not so easy according to the directions)

Connection was a breeze but no sound. Nothing i tried worked. Someone please tell me what to do. Picture quality is great.

I ordered this monitor as a 2nd screen for my bedroom, I hooked up my 2nd Blu-ray player & 2nd PS3 to it. It looks great,and is very sleek looking. It is a “computer monitor” so it doesn’t have the ability to wall mount so it just sits on my dresser. The plastic stand worried me in the beginning but after a couple of late nights “bumps” into the dresser the stand held firm. It is a great purchase for the price. It has the connection form the coaxial cable and a built in digital tuner….I have not used them since the main purpose was just for the Blu-ray & PS3 not cable. My friend saw it and immediately bought one for herself & her daughters rooms.

Everything came on time as promised and was quick to set up. The picture as usual is amazing but the sound as other reviews have noted is tinny to fair. Still for a birthday present for the wife so she can watch tv in the kitchen it rocks. She uses it every day so mission accomplished. Thanks Amazon.

4 Stars An Excellent Value and Attractive Set
I was originally considering a similar Toshiba set from Crutchfield, but that seemed to be discontinued. This was the next best value. It is a very attractive set and easy to set up and use. In terms of technical specifications, it is clearly not the best big screen set available, but it may be one of the best values available. I personally have not found things like screen refresh rate to be very important for the kind of watching I do, so this set has been more than adequate. It also appears to be pretty reliable, which always helps. I recommend it.
4 Stars Great TV for the Price
I have owned this TV for about 5 months and I am very impressed with this TV and have many good things to say about it. I currently have this TV hanging on my wall and usually watch it at around a 12-foot distance which I believe is a good distance for a 46-inch TV. I am also using this TV as a monitor for a home theater PC which looks just as good as my other computer monitor, if not better. The only reason i didn’t give this TV 5 stars is because of the built in speakers

Matte screen finish (Reduces glare significantly which is a big plus when viewing in a room with lots of windows)
Built-in video up-scalar is awesome (I am always impressed when watching VHS and DVD movies.)
Power Consumption (Only 230 Watts powered)
Weight (Weight without the stand is less than 50 lbs which is light enough for me to lift it onto the wall by myself)
HDMI connections (3 HDMI connections seems plenty enough for the devices I have currently)
60,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio (twice as good as previous model)
CONS
Built in speakers (Speakers started to rattle and buzz after the volume was turned up to around 50. I would defiantly recommend a home audio system if you want to get the full movie experience)
Component video connections (I had to buy a component switch that could handle my component connections from my Wii, Playstation, and DVD player)

TV does not have the sharp quality that I have seen in the stores. Remote control is difficult to understand. We did a lot of research about which unit to buy…but this TV does not live up to all the hype. Would not buy one again.

I purchased the Samsung LN46B540 (46″ LCD) TV back in May and it has been nothing but a disappointment. First thing I noticed was that the built in speakers were terrible, they kept making a hissing sound. I was willing to live with the speaker issue since I was going to buy a surround system. However after a month the screen went out. I called Samsung and RMA the TV however they still have it and I am without the TV. Every time I call Samsung they tell me they see they received the TV however they are not sure of the status and will call me back. So far after 4 calls to Samsung not once have they called me back. Tonight I am going to make a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, I will update my review if my case status ever changes.

Nice bedroom t.v. and the grandkids like it too when there is activity in the living room where the bigger t.v. is located. And the price is very good, picture quality excellent, easy to hang.

We bought this set to replace an old tube TV in the bedroom. Been using it about month and a half and it seems to work fine. It is connected to our Dish satellite service.
3 Stars 26-inch Toshiba–Good Picture, Limited Sound
I bought this 26-inch Toshiba LCD to replace a much older TV. The picture is adequate though tending towards the red spectrum and the 720p makes for some rather watery movements. It has the full array of connections, and I love connecting my laptop and using the big screen as a monitor. However, the sound is not loud enough. When I turn the volume up all the way we should be blasted out of the small bedroom where it is but it’s nowhere near that loud. I’ve “fixed” it by adding some old external computer speakers but it was a disappointment. Picture also shows some crazy “paint box” like display on startup that goes away if you push any button ont he remote. But, hey, it was cheap enough and serves its purpose.

Purchase the Toshiba for dual use as a desk top computer monitor and television. The unit has a good picture although the overall sound quality is below average. Offers good value and features for the money. Do not know yet if this is a re-occurring problem but have noticed on two occasions when the set is initially powered up the unit seems to lock up without ever having a picture or sound. Had to unplug the unit and power up then seems to work as designed.

I am unaware of how this product is, because I have yet to receive it! I was told it would be here tues the second of september and they just called me to let me know they do not deliver on those days to my town. And they will call me later this week to let me know when they will be delivering it! This is my first time ordering off of Amazon and I am already not happy and I have not even received my product!!!!!

I bought this item to be used as a monitor for my MAC G5 Pro Computer. The physical size was determined by the amount of space I had on my desk, otherwise I would have gotten a larger one. The Samsung LN37B550 works great as a computer monitor and displays in 1920 x 1080 resolution, I can put it in sleep mode according to settings on the Apple, the picture is sharp and clear and easy on the eyes with my head just a little more than a foot away from the screen. I also have an Elgato TV card on the computer and I can watch TV in several different screen sizes which I select on the apple. Di-Def channels are displayed as such and cable analog displays as it should. No complaints. Great product for the price.
3 Stars Red touch of color. That is bad
The TV is OK, nothing like the series 750, but please Samsung, the red touch of color starts to peel off after a few months.
I have the 750 series in my living room and it is in miserable condition peeling al around.

…very happy with the new Samsung HD TV!!!!! The product was easy to install and set-up. The picture is very good with good sound quality especially hooked up with my external speakers. I was especially impressed with Amazon and One-Call getting the set delivered in a no-hassle process and 4 day delivery!!!!!!……john
4 Stars sound control does not work
Picture quality is perfect and much better then my $3200. Sony (2006). The Sound control is broken and will not glide up or down in volume. Control must be pushed repeatedly for proper sound placement. Not enough quality control.

AWESOME TV! In December we purchased the 52″ version and are currently in the process of upgrading all of our TV’s to the Samsungs. Fantastic picture, quality, etc. I highly recommend any of the Samsung LCD HDTV’s!
1 Star garbage
I got this “super” TV because I trusted Samsung. When I got my TV it came with an issue (a gray rectangle in the middle of the screen), just after I started watching tv. It didn’t let me see the image. I called Samsung tech support and they told me they weren’t responsible for that issue. They told me to talk to the seller, Amazon. I wrote two emails to tech service and never received an answer from them. The hell with Samsung service! I returned the TV to Amazon’s distributor. I had the tv for less than 10 days in my hands. Sorry! Don’t know what to say. The distributor says they will refund my money when they get the tv back.

This Samsung 37″ HDTV was purchased for the bedroom. After having purchased a Samsung 46″ model A650 I signed up for Direct TV satellite but could not get the same programs (HD) on my old bedroom set. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money so I started tracking Amazons listings. Long story short. it’s everything I wanted in a second set. The picture is perfect, the price was right with no tax or shipping charge. Excellent clarity. Love this set. I also have a 21″ Samsung computer monitor.

We purchased this TV a few weeks ago, specifically because it would just fit in our existing TV cabinet. We have no complaints about this TV. The picture quality is excellent, the controls on the remote and the on-screen menu are both very intuitive. We had no problem figuring out everything about this TV without having to go through the instructions. The rotating base is convenient. The sound from the TV is good though we normally have it turned down and use the stereo.

Just like the other 2 Samsung TVs I have,this one did not disappoint me. Great picture, good TV for the bedroom. It took me about 30 minutes to hang it on the wall with the Peerless PA740 Articulating Wall Mount. I highly recommend it.
